Family is very important for every person. It’s a special unit of society, which matters the most.
Family is originally created by two young people who meet, fall in love and get married. Marriage is sacred union in the life of two loving people and it doesn’t matter where the ceremony takes place or what nationality a bride and a groom are. For example, in Europe a bride is escorted to the altar by her father, and then he entrusts his daughter to his son-in-law. The clergyman joins them in matrimony after which the newlyweds are pelted with the confetti. In Russia marriage begins with the ransom of a bride – it’s avery old tradition. Once fiance are in the registry office mated marriage bonds and exchanged wedding rings. Nowadays, young people after the wedding tend to be more independent and want to live separately from their parents and grandparents, which are called by nuclear family. They also have fewer children. The average family has 1 or 2 children. Usually in such a family the children feel lonely. But scientists say that there is one great advantage for an only child. He or she receives all the love parents have to offer. A loved child usually grows up into a loving adult.
Modern family life is a bit different from the way it was middle age. Earlier, several generations could live together under the one roof. There were also lots of children in each family, up to 15-20 and more. More common marriages of convenience. Man and woman can not marry for love, because family trying to improve its wealth and social position for misallience. Although many people do not see the marriage of anything wrong, I believe that the family should create two loving people who respect and understand each other. It often occurs that one spouse believes that he or she is ideal, has exceeded all the housework and the responsibilities of the other. This leads to argue, do not understand, and later to divorce and share of property.
In nowadays, marriages are also becoming rare. Many couples tend to live in civil marriage.
However, they all have something in common: when all members in the family love, respect and understand each other, they will definitely find happiness in family life.
