Wind farms in Britain provide 23% of the generated energy;
12% - nuclear power plants; 2% - hydroelectric power stations. The overwhelming majority of TPPs operate on wood pellets. The largest TPPs are on the Trent River and near London. Hydropower plants are small, they are located mainly on the Scottish Highlands.
